Chilling Final Words Of Pilot Before Air France Plane Crashed Into Atlantic Killing 228

Air France Flight 447 crashed into the Atlantic on June 1, 2009, killing all 228 people on board during its flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris. Chilling cockpit recordings captured the desperate final moments of Captain Marc Dubois and his co-pilots as they struggled with faulty speed sensors.

Blocked pitot tubes caused incorrect speed and altitude readings, disabling autopilot and leading the pilots to mistakenly pull the nose up, triggering an aerodynamic stall. The plane plunged over 11,500 meters in just four minutes. A two-year search recovered the black boxes, revealing the tragic errors. In 2023, a Paris court ruled Air France and Airbus not guilty of manslaughter, leaving lingering concerns about aviation safety.
